Fun sayings on room cards and door hangers, coffee set-up, Aveda, and newspaper choice products.
We had a seamless visit. Check-in was simple. We had refreshments in the lounge and had excellent service. The valet service was very courteous, giving us simple driving directions. Our room was very comfortable – with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay.

Night time valet parking guy was great [day guys not so much].
Bar closed at 12 am and no free WiFi [pay everything].
Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent property and for the $ was amazing, just that my group is used to staying at the 2.5 star property I requested and it takes a mental adjustment to get upgraded to a 3.5 star hotel with only pay parking, no free breakfast, no free WiFi. My group had a pleasant stay and my boss was very impressed [he can afford the upgrade and his upgraded higher floor room was much nicer than mine]. read more

Good front desk staff.
The address was confusing, the GPS could not even find it, the directions on the hotel website didn't help either.

The rooms were very comfortable.
Some staff did not know if the shuttle would take us to MD Anderson.
Overall I enjoyed staying here however I do not think there should be a fee for parking. I think the hotel should include MD Anderson as a part of their shuttle service.
