It would be a great hotel for having a conference in Vegas.
It was not within walking distance to any outside restaurants, drugstores, etc.
I've always like Marriott. However, this hotel is really not the greatest place to stay when you're planning to do things in Las Vegas. The hotel food is
extremely expensive. I had a simple breakfast in my room one morning, and it was $30! In order to get to any other restaurants, drugstores, etc. you have to either take the monorail located about 1 block away, or take a cab. That adds $10 to $20 to any excursion you make out of the hotel. A better choice for me would have been one of the hotels that offers food discounts or free breakfasts and is within walking distance of the strip. read more

So quiet we couldn't hear the traffic from our 3rd story room facing Paradise Dr.
Had to ask for a luggage rack and washcloths but received them promptly. Didn't like the $12.50/day (optional) internet charge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance. I wanted a quiet, clean, spacious room to do office work and read while my husband took in the shows, and it was everything we wanted. Clean, new, VERY QUIET, no casino, and 2 blocks off the strip, convenient, but out-of-the-way. Appreciated the microwave, fridge., and coffeemaker in the room. We'll definitely book at the Renaissance when we return. read more

Bright, clean and friendly.
Too far from the strip to walk.
Only stayed one night before moving to the Strip. Very nice business hotel, not safe to walk to and from strip. Definitely a business hotel, rooms excellent, nice bath, coffee maker, etc.
