Nice breakfast and pretty view of river out back.
Not the greatest part of town.

Nice and upscale hotel with beautiful lobby and nice rooms. The swimming pool was a bit small and needed skimming of bugs and leaves. The lounging area around the pool was small as well.

Wonderful restaurant.
Communication to shuttle driver and maintenance man lax.

Great restaurant, beautiful spa, they just need to communicate with their employees better. Called for the shuttle to pick us up at the plaza and gave up after standing in the cold for 30 minutes.

The heated pool is very nice.
The pillows didn't work for me - too squishy.

The lodge area is warm & welcoming. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The pool is a major attraction - our kids loved it.

Great bath experience with bath salts. Very comfortable beds.
Hard to find stairs to get to second floor, not intuitive. Had to walk around almost entire building.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The people are extremely friendly and willing to go out of the way to make sure your stay is pleasant. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. Even though the quality of the hotel was very high, we did not feel out of place or looked down upon with our small children. Would definitely stay again!

The room was very comfortable, roomy and attractive. The hotel lobby was attractive and the location was convenient.

The rooms are very comfortable and the pool is very nice.
The air conditioning unit dripped into the bathtub. Pool was not warm enough.

We've stayed at the Sonoma Renaissance Lodge a few times and had a pleasant stay each time. I love the bed sheets on the most comfortable bed, and bathroom amenities are wonderful. Each time, we brought a young baby and when the staff delivered the crib (playpen), they gave baby toiletries and a rubber ducky for the little one (which is a wonderful touch). Lastly, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner are great in the Caners Restaurant. It is one of our favorite stays in Sonoma. read more

The huge heated outdoor pool is quite nice. Notwithstanding that it was late December and rainy, we still enjoyed it a whole lot.
The air circulation in the room was a little stuffy and hard to regulate. The prices at the spa were pretty high given the standard services provided.

Our 3 year old really enjoyed the pool and although Train Town was closed when we visited, I really think it is a good place for children and adults alike. Our son was in and out of the pool and hot tub while other quests were using and no one seemed to mind or complain. The robes in the room are a nice touch.
