Great bedding; great in-room coffee service.
Too many extra charges for services like computer use; no complimentary airport shuttle; TV channel occasionally went out.

Generally, a quality hotel. High comfort. Convenient to downtown, although on the edge of a dubious district. Phone system a bit confusing as error message would constantly flash on the screen. No stocked refrigerator (not necessarily a minus). Luxurious bedding promotes sound night's sleep.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and the room was simply wonderful.
The parking was a little expensive and although the garage was attached it's a little hike.

The hotel was wonderful and meet every expectation I had. I will make it a point to stay there again.

The hotel staff informed me that when my room was ready when I showed up early.
Check in time was 4 pm.

My stay was outstanding, I was rather busy and did not see what all the hotel had to offer.

Very friendly staff and rooms were great!
Self parking is expensive for paid guests!

Everything was great and had a great time. Did not care for the high priced self parking. Wouldn't have minded paying as much if the parking deck was closer to the lobby elevators. Also, the first 3 levels of the parking deck were reserved for valet parking.

Ambience and attentiveness of staff.
Parking fees should be waived for guests; complimentary breakfast would be nice.

Beautiful decor, exquisite river views and personable staff make the Renaissance an appealing choice. Guests must pay for parking (at these rates why nickel and dime customers) and the area isn't exactly crime-free. However, the sheer beauty of the facility and the warmth of the staff go far in mitigating any shortcomings. I loved it and plan to return!

I have visited this hotel twice recently and it was excellent both times. I brought my family from England to stay at the Renaissance as it was so enjoyable. They were very impressed!
