This is a beautiful hotel in a great location.
You have to pay for internet access in the business center.

The Renaissance is a lovely hotel. We had a beautiful room looking over the river and the hotel is extremely convenient to everything in the city.

Excellent quality of rooms once we received correct room type.
No swimming pool.

When we checked in, there were no rooms available with two queen beds and there are four of us (two adult and two children). The hotel told us they would send up a rollaway bed for the kids. This was at 10:30 and the rollaway didn't come until 1:15. Said they were short handed. Trying to locate rollaways and then needed time to make them up and deliver them. We were exhausted and the kids were in a wedding the next day. Good news is they gave us a room with two queen beds the next morning. The new room was great. read more

Easy access to reasonably priced parking - attractive, comfortable, quiet and clean room.
There was no pool available and internet was not free.

Overall the hotel was very nice. But I was very disappointed that there was no pool. Only a Jacuzzi. The pool was actually next door except it was closed.

No gripes, everything was great.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It proximity to many eateries and other shops was ideal. The room was beautiful. Very high ceilings and a beautiful view of other buildings in the Pittsburgh skyline. The beds were comfortable and the room were very inviting. Parking across the street was a measley $5 for 24 hours, how can you beat that?

Beautiful old hotel. My husband and I stay here often.

Continued from what I did not like. The notes were in the room/registration (I called/needed roll away). I was told one would be there when I got back from my evening activities. Arrived - no roll away bed. I called down to the desk - there were none left. So - three of us slept in one bed! Unacceptable. Staff apologized - but not given complimentary breakfast or anything at all. I stay here frequently with my husband. Staff are great - this was a disappointment. read more
