Old fashioned , nice marble lobby.
Poor check-in-service.

Unable to fulfill request for 2 queen bed room, received roll away bed after multiple requests, which they delivered to wrong room. Slow at check-in.

Excellent quality of rooms once we received correct room type.
No swimming pool.

When we checked in, there were no rooms available with two queen beds and there are four of us (two adult and two children). The hotel told us they would send up a rollaway bed for the kids. This was at 10:30 and the rollaway didn't come until 1:15. Said they were short handed. Trying to locate rollaways and then needed time to make them up and deliver them. We were exhausted and the kids were in a wedding the next day. Good news is they gave us a room with two queen beds the next morning. The new room was great. read more

The lobby is beautiful and the location is very convenient.
We were given a small room with a queen bed and had to add a portable bed for an older child. It was crowded.

Well preserved with old world charm.

We were very pleased with the hotel! It met our expectations. The room was large and the linens met my expectations! The bathroom was roomy with granite and nice linens. The parking was efficient with immediate response for our vehicle. Definitely would stay there again!

Beautiful building and a wonderful staff.

Stayed at the hotel for the steeler divisional playoff game. The staff was great. The rooms were clean and the hotel was terrific. Highly recommend this hotel. The historic building is a beautiful sight.

The spaciousness of the rooms and friendliness of the staff surpass any hotel I've stayed in recently by far!

This is the place to stay in Pittsburgh. The rooms were more than spacious. And the staff was amazingly friendly. Ellen, at the front desk, greeted me by name each time she saw me over the four days we were there.
