Friendly staff at check-in and spacious room with kitchen, sitting area and work table.
Gym and room were cramped but machines were great.

Extremely convenient to UVA, shops and restaurants. Very spacious and clean room with full kitchen, sitting area and work table with free internet. Gym on location was fine. Would definitely stay again.

I highly recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites in Charlottesville. The staff was very friendly. We had a studio suite (an efficiency) and there was ample room for four people. The "real" breakfast, as opposed to continental breakfast, provided additional value for the money.

I could hear myself walking across the floor and it was carpeted. I felt badly for the people beneath me but it couldn't be helped.

The hotel had plenty of parking, looked welcoming, greeted by very friendly staff, clean, food and items made available, amenities were plentiful. The hotel was bright and colorful and even serene. However, I was on the 3rd floor and you could hear yourself thumping across the carpeted floors of your room. This is great for business travelers as it has a small kitchen with all the appliances. read more

Size of room was impressive.
Room A/C unit was in a closet by the bed,

Mattress was fairly uncomfortable for a three-star hotel, and was worn to the point of sloping to the center. A/C unit in the closet by the bed provided excess noise while tring to sleep. Other than that, the room was nice.

spacious room.

Very clean and well kept hotel. The rooms are spacious and there are lots of activities in the surrounding area. Pool is heated which is nice for a night swim. Seems to be kid-friendly. Staff is nice and is eager to help with anything you need.

Good free breakfast;Close to shopping and highway.
Our GPS didn't identify the address properly so it was a little hrd to find.

The room was clean and basic with a kitchenette we didn't need to use. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Location, it was close to the University of VA.
Could not get the internet services to work. Called help line two times.

Other than not getting the internet service to work in which I lost two days work the stay was good. I called the IT SVCS help desk two different days and they did not call me back until about an hour before I checked out.
