My husband and I enjoyed this hotel mainly because it was close to our grandchildren.

Good reputation and pleasant decor.
This hotel was listed as pet friendly, but when I checked in and after I'd already paid the hotel bill I mentioned to the woman at the desk that I had a dog. She then said that it was hotel policy to charge a sanitation fee. I asked her if she still needed to even though we were there for one night and he was a crate trained dog. Indeed she did say hotel policy. I was stuck. I will probably think really hard again about staying at a Marriott if that is the way they handle that situation. All other pet friendly hotels charge a maximum $20.00 and in some cases don't charge anything at all, and I did not notice a difference in the cleanliness at all. read more

Close to highway and away from the Trains.
Cheap mattresses on the pullout.

It was a peaceful room in a peaceful location.
Lobby bathroom was a mess, so we had nothing to use after checkout.
Compared to all the hotels that we passed close by, this was by far the most peaceful and pleasant looking place to stay.

Excellent breakfast bar!
Internet didn't work but they gave me a $25 gas card to make up for it.
Comfortable studio with nice accommodations and an excellent breakfast bar! Quiet at night, too. Attentive staff.

The free breakfast was delicious, hearty and satisfying.
I did not like the bathroom, because there was not bathtub, just a shower and floor.
The kitchen was very nice and fully equipped for a longer stay. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but pillows nice. I would stay there again, but felt the price was a little high. If there had been two rooms, instead of sofa bed in same room as other bed, it would have been nicer.

Each room had its own private entrance from outside.
This hotel was under renovations when I was there.
Because this hotel was under renovations and there were approximately 10 parking spaces that were not available due to the fact that dumpster and construction materials were occupying these spot, I was unable to get a parking place. I was told by the front desk that because of this I was allowed to park parallel along the curb. The morning of my departure. I went to my car to load my bags, and found that someone had backed into my car. Of course the guilty party left no information either on my car or at the front office. Because of this my stay was disappointing. I will not stay at another hotel that does not provide me with adequate parking. I was willing to pay the little bit extra for a room on this trip because this hotel offered a hot continental breakfast, but in the long run, I am going to pay much more on repairs on my car than I would have ever saved on breakfast. read more

Staff was extremely helpful and professional.
Due to a construction project, not enough parking.
Good value for the money. Quiet, no train noise (a real plus for flagstaff). Comfortable, clean room, friendly staff. Would stay here again.
