Location was great, food and staff was excellent.
In a one bedroom suite, it would be nice to have a TV in the living room and the bedroom.
Convenient location. The staff and the food was excellent. Very spacious, ice maker in the freezer, very convenient. The room needs a television for living room and bedroom.

I liked how the room felt like a small apartment.
The room had a weird smell upon arrival and the fridge and freezer smelled.
Upon check in I was greeted at the front desk told the gentleman my name and he stated I don't have reservations with your name here needless to say after approximately 10 minutes we found my reservation. Then as my girlfriend and I walked into the room we were blown back by not a harsh odor, but an odor of some kind (not a good odor). I tried to look past it until I walked over to the fridge and almost fell to the floor due to a huge puddle of water left in front of the fridge. I opened the fridge to put something in there and once again smelled something not very pleasant same for the freezer. This caused the ice cubes in my drink to taste the way the fridge smelled. This smell was not the smell of rotting food it was something different that I can not explain. After that we went to bed and the bed was not very comfortable at all. My trip was a two night stay and I'm not saying I would never go back to another Marriott, I just don't think I would stay at the Residence Inn in Meridian, CT. read more

The layout of the rooms was very pleasing. It is designed for the long term, but a simple trick for the bathroom, meant kids could sleep in living room.

The location
That my son had to sleep on the floor
I was traveling with my husband and two teenage kids. We got a room with a queen bed and a single pull out couch. I explained this to the girl at the front desk and although she was very nice she and did nothing. The room was ok but it look like they forgot to sweep and run the vacum. The couch cushions were gross on one side. We use this hotel as a 1/2 way point to NYC.We have stayed there 3 times in the last year but I don't know if I would go back after this last trip. read more

Great amenities, clean, comfortable for an excellent price.
A bit far from urban centers about 30 minutes from new haven and 60 minutes from Stores.
While the hotel was a bit further than I had hoped from New Haven, it was clean, comfortable and had many great amenities. It also provided a free breakfast as well as free dinner/snacks in the evening. A nice surprise!
