All of our suites are newly renovated. Come and see our new look! Welcome to Canada's Capital and the Residence Inn Ottawa! Located in the heart of downtown, our hotel is just a short walk from museums, restaurants and more. The hotel boasts studio, one and two bedroom suites which come with a fully equipped kitchen, living area with sofa bed, dining area, work desk, dual dedicated voice/data lines, and windows that open. Start your day with our complimentary hot buffet breakfast (daily) or join us at our evening social held two nights per week. Other features include; indoor pool,whirlpool,exercise room, saunas and over 6000 square feet of meeting space. Free high speed Internet access is available at our guest terminal located in the Hearth Room. Also available in the hotel complex: 24 hour Tim Horton's coffee shop, Bossarts hair salon & spa, Thrifty Car Rental and Exquisite Blooms florist. Very nice and
clean rooms.
Promises of a kitchenette were disappointing (no stove etc), and no whirlpool jets or view. Rooms don't specify what you get, so false expectations.

The breakfast was better then expected and the room was very spacious.
There are three different elevators that you have to get off and on to get around - annoying.

Overall the experience was a good one. The location was close to many attractions and shopping. The room was great - spacious and very clean. The TV was from 1985 but - we were not in town to watch TV - so it didn't bother us. The breakfast was better than expected - especially the mini waffle maker!

Conveniently located at the heart of downtown.
The television was somewhat old. I was expecting a flatscreen TV.

It was a nice pleasant stay. The staff was helpful and courteous. I was not hassled in any way. The breakfast was decent.

Our room had 2 television sets! Great for us and the children! I also liked the fully stocked kitchen.
There was nothing not to like. It was great!

Great location, fantastic staff, huge clean rooms, free breakfast.

This hotel is two long blocks from Parliament Hill and a 10 minute walk from By Ward Market. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room (suite) was huge, with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, free internet, and very large bathroom with full amenities. The hotel is not new, but is very well maintained and super clean. And there is a wonderful free breakfast! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highest recommendation! read more

The suites were very spacious with a nice kitchen. The morning breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The parking garage was tight and the spaces were small for a large vehicle. The elevators were slow.

The hotel was superior to what I expected. The workout center was very nice. I had an enjoyable experience and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely Hotel....For a 2.5*, this hotel beats my expectations - give it a 3*
parking ....too expensive...make it free

The size of the rooms is a plus for this hotel....it is ideal for families on vacation. It is clean and the free breakfast is a major attraction. It is homely. Would stay there again, and would recommend to family and friends.Kudos to Marriot

It's beyond my expectation, the room is very huge and pretty much a suite. It has a complete kitchen and washing/dryer machine. Fantastic !!!
