The hotel staff and vacationers alike were very friendly and courteous.
Complaints were not handled in a timely fashion or not taken care off.

Riu Bachata is a beautiful resort with good food, good entertainment, a friendly staff and a great atmosphere. However, the air conditioning in our my room was malfunctioning, so my girlfriend and I were very uncomfortable during the time spent in the room. After several complaints and 24 hours later we still had the same problem. They offered us another room, but it also had its problems. Other than that it was alright, however, we will not return to the Riu Bachata again. read more
