Great location, safe, quiet and comfortable furnished.
The bathroom could use some updates.

Full kitchen, across the street from trader Joe's, friendly staff, comfy living rooms, and free wireless.
Free breakfast is a bit sparse; no dish detergent (though there is dishwasher detergent).
Loved it. Well worth the price. The man at the front desk was very accommodating, thank you!

Close to public train transportation; clean enough with kitchen!
Bathroom and kitchen a little older.
Great hotel for value. Kitchen and bathrooms were a little older but all was functioning. Very stylish and great view of the area through the extra large window.

Great location in the heart of DC.
The evening desk clerk was brusque.
Nice place, nice rooms, great location, clean, friendly staff in the bar/restaurant. Evening desk clerk was not terribly helpful and had a curt demeanor. It was kind of pricey but it was DC in season.

This is our second stay at this hotel, great location and a great accommodation for 2 parents and adult son. The kitchen is great for breakfast and snacks. We will return again, every year if we could.

Convertible couch/bed and full kitchen adjacent to main room with fresh coffee beans!
Asked for help at front desk to lock the safe when I arrived and no one ever came.
Overall a favorite hotel in the area, great location, comfortable room, fabulous restaurant!

Spacious room, coffee beans in kitchen, comfortable bed.
Trouble at check in.
Check in was not pleasant. I confirmed a smoking room twice (the last time the day before my arrival). This was promised to me. Upon check in was told all the smoking rooms were blocked out and the hotel was becoming nonsmoking as of that day. I should have been notified ahead of time about this. However, they opened a smoking room for me (and a few other guests) and were given my promised room after I insisted the manager be called. Other than that, a very pleasant stay. read more

Big fluffy towels, Aveda products, comfortable bed, Coffee beans & grinder in the little kitchen.
TV had a buzzing sound.
Location is fabulous if you want to be close to GW University. Residential street, Trader Joe's (groceries) on the same street a few blocks down. We were able to park on the street for the whole weekend (never had to pay for parking.

Quiet, pleasant residential area, close to the Metro and Georgetown, nice rooms.
Nothing.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The hotel was in a quiet very pleasant historic neighborhood, yet it was very convenient to the Metro and downtown Georgetown. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, however the chef there, does get high ratings.

Location.
Once the room was not made up very early in the day.
The staff was very helpful and nice, had to replace the hair dryer and did so promptly. It is in a convenient location to dining, shopping, metro, and entertainment. Billing was incorrect. Because computer was down at check out, was unable to review charges before departure. Am waiting on a correction from the River Inn--just requested it today. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others. read more
