The staff and the quiet rooms were definitely a plus at this hotel.
Valet parking of $28 seemed a bit much and the small room we were given.

This was my second visit to Riverplace. During my first stay, the size of my room was more than adequate for a business traveler. However, this stay was another story. The room we were given was like a closet for my wife and I. The staff is wonderful and the photography on the walls is great.

It was further from town center and from public transportation than I prefer.

Nice floor plan with exception of suites with no views. Great location for walkers - river front walkway and access to varied locations.

Location, friendliness, and overall appearance.
Our courtyard room was 1/2 size of friend's.

Wonderfully kept and appointed. Lobby and restaurant/bar areas are warm and cozy. Rooms were welcoming with comfortable beds and nice amenities. Be aware of the size disparity of rooms at the same price.

I did like the restaurant.
The room was booked wrong. There was not movies in the room. The location was not walkable to downtown. The staff was new and unexperienced.

I didn't like this hotel at all. It was unorganized, understaffed. The same person was checking people in and out and doing concierge. They were screaming across the isle to the valet. The room reservation was booked as an error. The hotel didn't have a pool or spa. The system for checking out movies was ridiculous, there was a book of xeroxed copies to chose from. The bar was not stocked and we waited 25 min to get towels and cups that should have been in the room to begin with. It was very disappointing. read more

Warm, cozy feeling provided by the decor and the attentive staff.
It was hard to find and access from major streets.

The hotel put us in the smallest room they have available. Luckily there was something wrong with the room and we got switched to a different standard room which was double in size.
