The hotel staff was very helpful.
The pool was outdoor and we weren't aware of that before hand.

Location was walking distance to Blue Cross Arena.
Room was not very comfortable.
The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Rochester, however the rating was too high for the quality. Our expectations were higher than the mediocre room quality and the sub-par service. Room walls are thin and adjoining room noise was a major distraction. Like most hotels food prices were high.

Nothing.
Insufficient elevators. non functional heating/cooling system - had to keep window open on 5th floor w/ no screen. Dingy. Needs updating.
Hotel was frankly unsafe due to insufficient elevators to service amount of rooms. Also, the heating/cooling system for each room did not work. Once the heat was on in the overall building, you were not able to cool down your room. We were told to open the giant window in a room on the fifth floor! The window had no screen which was a safety issue and also caused us to be wakened by garbage truck noise. Decor was dingy and outdated. I needed a microwave and had to use the employee microwave in some back room non-public space. Bad experience overall. read more

Excellent bed & pillows, professional yet friendly staff.
Parking (or lack of) needs to be reconsidered.
For my purposes ( combo leisure & business) the hotel is in an ideal location. The room is very comfortable and clean, good view of Genesee River. The staff is efficient and accommodating---I hope to stay there again.

Good downtown location.
Dirty, old, worn out, dated.
Not even close to a 3.5 Star Hotel.

Not 3.5 stars. Room was 80 degrees and no AC was available.
Not a 3.5 star hotel. A 2 star at best. Food was good at restaurant. Room had no AC and was 80 degrees. Complained to staff and all they said was sorry. Room was okay but a little dated.

Nothing.
The only thing upscale about this hotel was the entry, and the hotel lobby. The rooms were very old and out dated. It had stained furniture and the carpets were filthy. It can use a major face lift.

Loud music, uncomfortable beds, outdated decor, a rude staff member who was not sympathetic to our needs.
This hotel was not what I had expected at all! I have stayed in numerous conference resorts and this one did not meet my expectations at all! The decor was in dire need of an update, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the environment was all together loud. One evening during our stay loud music was playing which prevented us from falling asleep in a timely manner. Delaying our plans for the following day due to lack of much needed sleep. When calling the front desk the manager stated, there is a wedding and it will not be over until 1:00AM. He offered no apology and was very rude! If you are a business traveler do not stay here! read more
