2006 newly renovated two story property. Hotel features almost all non-smoking rooms, heated pool, free continental breakfast, vending area and free wireless high-speed Internet access. The hotel is directly across the street from Von's Food and Drug Plaza on East Main Street (historic Route 66). Barstow is the main and midway city stopping point for those traveling to/from Southern California cities and Las Vegas, Nevada. read more

Friendly and helpful staff (at the front desk).

I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just an affordable place that was clean. This hotel exceeded expectations. Not only was it clean, but the staff was also very friendly and helpful. The room had a kitchen area with fridge, stove, and microwave. Don't expect any other fancy amenities though.
