Location was close to shopping restaurants and Bellingham airport.
Thin walls. It can be noisy if you have an inconsiderate neighbor.

he rooms were cheap.
They still have some smoking rooms, and you can smell cigarettes in the public areas.

Convenient location to I-5, short driving distance to Belling ham attractions and WWU.
Although the hotel gave me a non-smoking room, the hotel hall and lobby smelled like cigarettes.

Availability on short notice
Quality of maintenance
If not for the shower curtain smelling of mold and the malfunctioning bathroom fan switch, it was a pleasant enough stay. Front desk clerk on check out was overwhelmed with re-stocking the continental breakfast. Management should have 2 people on staff in the morning for just such a situation.

The elevator and hallways had an odd odor. It reminded us of old burned wood. I wonder if this hotel had a fire in the past.

My room was away down the hall and for the most part quiet.
Grubby people hanging out tin lobby, bad smell in the elevator and 2nd floor.
Bad smell, local hangout for grubby people, bad smell in elevator and 2nd floor. Desk girl never smiled, not rude just not nice and friendly. Good hotel for a last resort effort at finding a place or if you are on a budget.

The room was clean.
The room air conditioner was loud. The bed was very hard.
We were satisfied with the Roadway in for a one night stay. The location is convenient to the highway but not right on it. The room air conditioner was loud, but the room was stuffy if it was not on. The bed was like a sheet of plywood on springs. But the room was clean, so we were reasonably comfortable for a night's stay, at an economical price.

Nothing.
Old decor, hard beds, poor folks home.
Hardest bed I ever slept on old wall paper, torn and dirty.
