Welcome to the Rodeway Inn, conveniently located in southern California, one of the closest hotels to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. This Escondido hotel is less than 25 minutes from attractions like the San Diego Zoo, Sea World and Legoland. Additional attractions are Balboa Park, the San Diego Convention Center, Scripps Aquarium and Seaport Village. We are located off Interstate 15 and Highway 78 in a quiet neighborhood of Escondido. Mexico is about 25 minutes away. Several golf courses and beaches nearby. A wide variety of restaurants, lounges movie theaters and stores are within walking distance. Nice room, with coffee pot, & microwave, close to stores.
The continental breakfast, coffee & sweet rolls, no fruit or cereal.

The managers were friendly. We were given a little larger room, which we did not ask for, The hotel was close to the freeway and stores.

The receptionist was very helpful and kind. The room clean and decorative.
No pool.

The room was very nice and pleasant. Newly renovated. We felt at home in our room.

Clean and easy to find. Near shopping and dining.
Not very soundproof. Could hear alot of the traffic and other guests.

This hotel is more like a nice motel. The rooms all face the outside walkway and you have to be careful to keep the drapes closed or people walk by and look in your room. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The maid even hung up our jackets we had left on the chair. I think it was a good place to stay for the price. I will stay again.

Not very clean. The service was horrible. Bring your own toilet paper if you plan to stay here because the people are very stingy. And its in an ugly area.

Quiet, clean and easy access to freeway.

Staff was friendly and easy access to freeways and gas stations. Had restaurants close by like mexican food, chinese food, pizza, starbucks, ihop and dennys. Rooms were very roomy and quiet.

Nice room but the king bed was on quite a high riser.

Nice and well done, really like the choice of floor tile in bathroom. Service at front desk was efficient and quick.

Staff was excellent, room was clean, air conditioning worked excellent.
Bathroom walls and ceiling needed to be cleaned some more.

We will definitely be staying at this hotel again. The room was clean, Bathroom was very spacious, and air conditioning worked great. The front office staff was very pleasant and helpful. Price was great for the quality of the hotel but if the price was much higher it would not be worth it.

Clean and convenient.
No swimming pool.

This was clean simple place to stay. Good location and has a mini fridge and microwave. No pool. Was about $20 too much a night.
