The room was dark with little lighting. There were big stains on the carpet. The linens were yellowed and stained. The room needed a good cleaning and overall maintenance. The toilet seat was loose and there was dirt buildup in the corners.

It was okay for those that just want a place to stay, to move on to the next spot. Not a place I would recommend for an extended stay.

My husband and I needed a just place to sleep comfortably for the night and this met that need. The second floor porch is enclosed which is really nice in the winter, but unfortunately, people had been using it as a smoking room and that smoke and the smoke from the smoking bedrooms filtered right into our non-smoking room to the point where our eyes were burning. The staff very kindly moved us to another room on the other side (a different wing) of the motel where there were no guests on either side, on the ground level. All was fine regarding the smoke, and the room was clean and comfortable. Shabby but certainly not overly. The in room fridge and coffee maker are a nice plus and the TV was big enough and clear. The owners were very nice and we enjoyed the homemade waffles for breakfast. Yet, we hoped they would be served with authentic maple syrup, being in VT, but they were not. Nonetheless, it's more then the average cont. breakfast would offer. Over all, I would say it was a decent and clean enough place. The mattresses were OK.

Good room for a good price and friendly staff.

It's clean, family friendly and has an outdoor pool. The staff also friendly & helpful. Close proximity to shopping malls also. Would stay there again if the need arose.
