The price is excellent, parking is free, and was close to where we wanted to be.
Wimpy towels and not enough of them. Kurt staff when called for more towels. They don't deliver.
We used this room for sleeping only. King bed is pretty comfortable and our 2 yr old slept on the floor while the newborn was in the pack-n-play. We chose the handicap room because it was the only king sized bed with non-smoking they had, therefore the bathroom was nice and big. The room itself, not real roomy. Staff was a bit rude when we called for more towels. They don't deliver - apparently she was put-out that I didn't know that already. Silly me. Didn't use the breakfast this time because it is all crabs and sugar and not up our alley. read more

Convenient location.
Bad continental breakfast.
Convenient to stadiums, clean but not spectacular. Good if you just need a place to sleep.

Great for events at the Arena, Yes you
can walk!
The breakfast was not up to Days Inn standards, pretty bad.
We went for a concert and found it to be a perfect location for an overnight stay. It was great to walk and save the crazy charges for parking ($20) at the Oracle. It was fun to meet people from the show the next morning and it seemed like everyone was there for the same reason. The only drawback was the breakfast, pretty skimpy and they do not provide enough seating for the hotel guests. Overall great room for the price and experience. read more

Such nice staff, very clean, just exactly what you want in an inexpensive but nice hotel.
Too expensive - but it's the Bay Area.
Stay here for work-- if you are on a lower budget, this is the best place. It is clean and the staff was kind, competent, and accommodating.

Reasonable price, close to transportation, airport shuttle.
Signage indicated Days Hotel, not Days Inn, apparently just changed.
We were visiting Oakland for a relatives college graduation, 2 nights only. Wanted a cheap and close in place. Got cheap, got close to Bart. Ended up with relatives shuttling us around anyway. Perfectly fine for a reasonably priced place.

Good shower - yeah!
Room a bit small, but nobody complained.
Recommended. Good price and location. I plan on staying there next time I go to Oakland. When I travel, I do not spend much time in my room. It served its purpose well as a home base for changing clothes and cleaning up.

Neighborhood.
If you're going to Oracle Arena or McAfee Coliseum, this is a great location. The Venue is easily accessible from this hotel.
