Couldn't close the shower door so water got on the floor.
This is a quality hotel in a lovely location. I'd stay there again.

Cleanliness; newly renovated room; pillow top bed; quality fixtures and linens; 24-hr room service and concierge.
Lobby/facade renovation in progress; very small sized room; limited storage; room view.
The hotel facade and lobby was being renovated during our stay. The lobby was still very nice and presentable during renovation and the room was completely and tastefully newly refurnished. The service at the hotel was 5-star, especially the 24-hour room service and conceriege, turn-down service and cleanliness. Also top notch were the fixtures, flat-panel television, linens, robes and the soft pillow-top bed. However, the size of the room, very limited storage space, and an obvious ongoing renovation makes this hotel more of a 4 star. The hotel is located in a very fashionable, but touristy, area of Paris right around the corner from the Opera Garnier. In addition to the area being safe, the hotel itself seemed very secure - a room key needed to access your floor in the elevator. The view from our room was of the courtyard(interior). There was nothing attractive about this view; it is looking across to other nearby rooms. Your current hotel bill is always available via their TV system, but in-room check-out was not available. The rooms include internet access/web tv, safe, mini-bar, bottle water, coffee/tea, salon quality hairdryer, robes, slippers, shampoo/conditioner combo, soap, moisturizer, and other necessities. Of notice were a both tourists and business travelers, and additional internet access from their bar area. read more

Beautiful hotel, great location, nice staff especially concierges.
We had to pay quite a bit extra for our daughter's bed per night, but still was a reasonable price.
Hotel scribe-Paris is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris near the opera. Nice staff, very pleasant rooms (especially the bathrooms) and helpful concierge. I would definitely stay here again.

The concierges were all very polite and helpful.
I wish my duvet cover had been changed every day.
The Scribe is a very nice hotel that, though it does not exceed expectations, meets them. The location in the city center near several transport hubs is practically unbeatable. The staff was all very helpful and polite. While not the ultimate in luxury or style, the hotel is a perfectly comfortable and attractive place to stay.

This hotel is close to all major sightseeing¿s, mall, 2 blocks from Rosy bus to CDG airport. Love it.

The concierge staff was very helpful, friendly, and willing to assist with all my requests.
Their business center consisted of one computer in a room, rather than several computers.

The meal served with Room Service was excellent.
Not enough pillows on the bed!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Scribe and would definitely go back. A very nice hotel, nice staff and all that's missing is a fitness club which they are apparently working on now. Great hotel.

Renovated rooms are fabulous! Staff is eager to please.
Avoid non-renovated rooms.
Location was great! Check-in was smooth. Solid 4* hotel. Not a 5*. Renovated rooms were very nice. Whole hotel will be beautiful, once renovation is complete. Comfortable bed.
