Solo Traveler
For the money paid this was an excellent place to stay. When I first checked into the room, it smelled very musty (like it had not been opened in quite some time). With a good can of air freshener and letting the room air out, it was fine after a while. They did bring me a microwave and refrigerator and a continental breakfast of muffins and coffee was appreciated.

Conveniently located. The rooms were well maintained and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a bit disappointing only muffins, OJ and coffee. There are other hotels, Inns nearby which look more attractive but I am sure they are much more expensive as well. Given the region, I think the hotel was a good value for the money we paid.

We needed to switch out of the cottage because the smoke detector was beeping. They moved my in-laws into a REALLY lovely room. They were very responsive and friendly.

The hotel was just blocks from the waters edge of the Monterey Bay. Great location for a quiet getaway, friendly staff, the room is decorated really cute, but I wish there had been a mini fridge. Would stay here again if I'm in the area.

The grounds were nice. The hotel check-in area was nicely decorated and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous, and had great suggestions for good restaurants. The continental breakfast was good all food fresh and plentiful.
