It was a very pleasant experience. They upgraded our room at no extra cost.

The location
was great and right on the beach.
Room was small, dark and
mildew in shower.

The best thing about this hotel was it's location. The room was also clean for the most part, but there was mildew in the shower and dust on the ceiling fan.

Location is right on the ocean.
Small, old, run down, dirty walkways, tiny lobby/eating area, tiny rooms, no tub, musty smell in room, wet carpet from shower.

Great location, right on the beach, tiny rooms, old, not kept up with as far as clean and fresh smelling, tiny eating area/lobby, which makes it crowded in the morning. Nice deck with rocking chairs and lounge chairs for sunning and enjoying the ocean at night.

The location on the beach and the view.
The wind jammer bar next door.

The staff and the hotel were nice and accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel is located next to a bar with a live band. Luckily we were on the opposite side, but you could still feel the thumping from the loud music.

Was not cleaner friendly. Fridge did not work, bugs under bed.

Would never stay here again.

Location to the beach.
Broken AC, entire room and lobby stayed damp.

Great location, friendly staff, but the carpet outdoor walkways stayed wet the entire time. Hotel room was nice but very small, and we had to keep the AC cranked to keep it from being damp. Shower had drainage issues in spades. Also, the "pool" is so small it was kind of hilarious. Beds were nice though, and it's right on the beach. Ok for the price but don't try having more than 2 people in a room unless you want to climb over each other. read more

Close to the beach, good beds and nice continental breakfast.
Noisy, very family oriented, messy hallways, walls were thin and parking was a challenge.

This hotel is very nicely located right on the beach. It is a very family oriented hotel. If you are looking for somewhere romantic go elsewhere. The walls were quite thin and I could hear the neighboring rooms bathroom fan running and a man snoring in the next room. It was reasonably priced but not a hotel I would go to again. Isle of Palms was beautiful.

It was very cozy.
The wait for the room due to washer and dryer issues.

The location was beautiful, the hotel was fabulous, and there was lots to do around the hotel.

It had a view of the ocean, it was close to shops & restaurants, within close distance to Charleston.
Very few ocean front rooms, no balconies oceanfront or ocean view.
