Hotel Guest Reviews of the Seven Gables Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 10, 2010

The hotel lobby and facilities were excellent. However, the rooms need to be updated to match the rest of the superb quality of the hotel. Until this is done, I would not stay or recommend this hotel other than for its restaurant/bar/breakfast.

Excellent staff and amenities. Very beautiful and comfortable. Needs slight maintenance but very cosmetic. Overall, wonderful experience in quaint city.

Very friendly and attentive hotel staff. They made you feel at home. Their genuine hospitality was beyond what I have experienced. The hotel has an old time charm. But modern amenities are all there. Very comfortable bed.

Quaint and unique. Limited # of rooms--More like a large bed and breakfast. If we wanted to watch television we had to sit on the bed--And it was a Queen size, would have much preferred a King or two doubles. The most extensive and quality continental breakfast ever.

This is a very old boutique style property that confuses ambiance with dirty and shopworn. The rooms were smaller in size, typical for this type of hotel. The friendly staff made up for part of it, but this property badly needs an infusion of cash. ...
