Nice hotel. Rocky beach, but pool compensated this deficit. Overall, good experience.

I hated this place. It was pretty but it was a false illusion everyone there knew seemed to be functioning with one brain cell.
I hated this hotel and the staff this place made me not want to come back to Mexico or a Sheraton event the spa was a joke.
This hotel was horrible. On the surface it was beautiful but overall this place sucked. When we first checked in and went to our room there was a 4X3 stain on our comforter. If I has to guess it looked like dried human discharge. There were 4 other smalled stains. When we alerted the hotel they said they would send the manager. We explained we had not eaten yet so if they could expedite. A cleaning lady came with a new duvet cover that also had a stain on it. After 40 minutes a woman names Cecilia showed up who was supposed to be the manager but she explained she could do nothing. We waited 40 minutes for someone who showed up because they were standing in for the manager. There were several other things that happened but I don't even want to waist my time on writing them down. Do not stay at this hotel you will regret it. read more

Our room was spectacular, staff was super friendly and most of restaurants were great.
This was a beautiful hotel, well maintained and our room was huge.

I thought the room was nice and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
I did not think that the food was very good overall.
Great location, walking distance from downtown Puerto Vallarta. Nice pool, not great. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a room on the third floor with a view of the ocean. The room was very big, clean, and nice. It had a very large balcony that could fit a small party (approximately 10 people). The food was not really that good. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, but a little pricey. The pools were okay, but there are definitely much better pools in other resorts in PV. read more

Great view and able to upgrade easily.
Cleaning staff came very late in the day, interrupting our stay.
I enjoyed the overall experience at the hotel. The view from our hotel room was fantastic at night and we changed to a better room without much difficulty.

Great central location on bus route.
Sunday brunch was not worth price.
We stayed there for a couple days getaway. The room was on second floor, so we didn't have that great of a view, but the upside to this was that we had a patio with chairs. The staff was friendly, and gave good restaurant recommendations.

The pool.
AC barely functioned in room, couldn't sleep.
This hotel was a real let down. The ac in the room, not only did not put out cold air, but was extremly noisy, and both prevented getting a good nights sleep. There is no sandy beach, just rocks. We were hounded about doing the time share presentation, not only at the airport but in the hotel also. Everything is overpriced. Very Dissapointed. Does not live up the Sheaton name or reputation. read more

The mexican fiesta was excellent. as were the rest of the staff working there.
The time share presentation.
The hotel overall was fabulous. The only down fall was when we were hunted down for agreeing to sign up for their time share presentation which was suppose to be 90 min presentation ended up to be a 2-hours. The staff was helpful and friendly.
