Nice staff, nice rooms with balcony, fridge and microwave.
Very sterile and bland, no personality, and not a great location.

Room and lobby recently updated.
The only thing I didn't like was the pillows which is purely a personal preference.
The hotel is convenient to the highway and UNC-Chapel Hill. With recent updates, it is a nice place to stay to visit the university. The staff were very accomondating.

It was beautiful. We had a patio.
Pen didn't work and bathroom lite bulb out. Bathroom small.
The style was beautiful & zen like. The restaurant had reasonable prices. Although we didn't eat there we would next time. They had a great business center in lobby where we could use computer & printer.

The fitness facility was complete with state of the art equipment.
The toilet seemed to have low water pressure when flushing.
I've stayed at the Sheraton several times and always enjoy my stay. The shuttle van is very convenient.

The Starbucks coffee maker with to-go cups in the room.
The room seemed a little cramped.
This is a great location for anyone visiting Chapel Hill/Durham. It still feels rather undiscovered, though. During our visit, the hotel felt eerily deserted, and we didn't see much evidence of anyone working there aside from the lone front desk person. A bag from Whole Foods with food scraps in it, which we placed in a small wastebasket by the elevators on our floor in the afternoon, was still there when we checked out at noon the next day. It wasn't a dirty hotel, by any means, it just felt understaffed, or something. Our room was also surprisingly cramped for two people, though the bed was comfortable and the outdoor balcony was pleasant. I'd recommend it mainly for business travelers and those visiting the area to look at schools, etc. read more

it was clean and spacious, centrally located
the woman who checked us answered two phone call while we waited and we had had a LONG day!
We will stay again when we are in the area which may be frequent as we have a child in graduate school at UNC.

It is conveniently located.
Hate the pillows!
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Under construction, so be aware of that. Bring your own pillows, though, as the down-filled pillows are the most uncomfortable thing in the world (I had to go buy my own for our second night).

Very clean with nice room furnishings.
No free breakfast or paper.
The hotel was very nice and clean and the room furnishings were new and clean (clean carpet, new furniture, new flat screen TV, etc.) There was plenty of free parking in the back. We didn't eat at the on-site restaurant or order room service.
