Location!
Construction.

The Sheraton Grand is typically one of the best hotels to stay in Sacramento because of the location, the friendly staff and open layout of bar area (great for socializing). With the construction going on, the bar was closed and the generally busy area near the lobby was vacant and took away from the overall experience. Typically though, great place to stay!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our key card did not work one time because the battery got low and our shower head needed to be fixed on the second morning.

The Sheraton was everything that we needed. It was close to Capitol park and it was a very clean hotel. The room was very luxurious and it had new carpet. We loved the view from the 24th floor.

I really enjoyed the location.
Lack of small refrigerator in room.

This hotel was so nicely located near the state capitol and many other downtown conveniences. I would stay there again, especially if I booked through Priceline.com.

Location.
Rug in room had stains, should be changed, walls a bit think noise from floor above.

Good location, good food, safe, clean, really a conference hotel.

The beds and the restaurant.
The bathrooms were small and without a unique design.

The hotel is ideally located near the Capitol Mall. The rooms are large with nice window seats and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are a tad small. The lobby is huge and has great internet services. The restaurant has a really good up to date menu. If you get a good rate, it is the perfect place to stay.

Loved the bay windows in the rooms overlooking city.
Hallways noisy at night.

Overall it was a good experience, clean, safe, friendly staff - my only complaint was other rude guests speaking very loud in hallways at 3am.

Great downtown location, close to mall, old town and eateries.
Parking garage across the street-18.00.

We had a nice experience at this hotel. Nice, clean, upscale rooms. Great location. What started out as a negative (huge 10 room bachelor party starting at 10pm) ended up as a positive. The front desk sent security immediately and they did not leave until all was quiet. Upon check out there was an apology by staff for the disruption.

The Starbucks coffee in the room and the complimentary newspaper!

Friendly and helpful concierge. Plenty of computers for free use and never had to wait.
