Great location in downtown Raleigh.
Horrible plumbing.

The Sheraton is obviously an older hotel in need of upgrading. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but smelled as if it had been smoked in for years and only recently turned over to non-smoking. The plumbing was horrible - the toilet ran constantly and when flushed, the water would swirl for over a minute - very wasteful with water. There was no bathroom ventilation fan and the shower drain was clogged, so the tub took an hour to drain. At 7 am, we were awakened by children running up and down the hallway and adults yelling back and forth. The doors must have been paper-thin. Because of the noise, we were unable to get any rest. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. One could get a nicer room at the Motel 6 and have a better chance getting some sleep. read more

Convenient to downtown, very nice room, friendly and helpful staff.
Very noisy till late night.

Very nice room, friendly helpful staff, convenient to downtown Raleigh. Convenient across the street parking garage. Incredible Priceline price! The only negative was the lobby and halls were very noisy until 2 am.

It was very clean.

This hotel was in a great location. It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. It had a nice resturant and a great pool!

Hotel was great, was a little disappointed when we went to check in, well after the available check in time and were told that our room wouldn't be ready for another half hour. They did work us in a room, however, the wait in the lobby was the longest I think I've ever waited. The lobby was full and it didn't seem to move that quickly. After the check in, the hotel, it's location, and it's amenities were great! read more

The staff was very helpful with take outs and car trouble.
They could have given more info about whats in the hotel.

Overall I had a very good stay and the staff that I was in contact with was helpful. I would stay there again.

It was clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff.
It was noisy at night.

Although we did not spend much time in the room, it was quite noisy late at night when we were trying to sleep. It was next door to an ambulance service and we heard sirens frequently. Also, two of the three nights we were there, people were loud in the hallways until about 3:30 in the morning.

The bed was very comfortable.
The bathtub stopper was broken.

This comfortable clean hotel is a place I'd be glad to stay again I wasn't there long enough to use the pool. Free in room internet was a big plus.
