Room was not clean/staff did not understand English well at all.

I feel this hotel has gone downhill in its cleanliness and I won't stay here again. The personnel(check-in and housekeeping) do not speak or understand simple English. It was very hard to communicate basic needs.

The swimming pool hasn't had water in it for some time, being dresser exc are sounding it.

The first room was open and lights were on and people were around it. Wouldn't go in need different room. That room was not clean and no coffee pot, But there was coffee to make it. They change your lock at 7:45 am so your key doesn't work. There is a pool no water in it. I would never stay there again. They false adv. I picked them because it had a pool.

At breakfast the man who was making coffee, refilling cereal, etc. was hovering and often in the way. He was so insistent on pouring hot coffee into a carafe that he jostled my children causing my daughter to spill hot tea on her hand. When I asked for something for the burn they had no key for the room with the first aid supplies.

This motel is in a perfect location for a visit to Winchester or the Shenendoah Valley.
There were a large number of weekly/monthly renters.

We have stayed at this motel frequently through the years and have always enjoyed everything about it. Unfortunately, there are a large number of weekly/monthly renters which has changed the atmosphere. The staff was very helpful but did not always follow through, such as bringing the third set of towels for our son. They forgot to clean the room on day. The pool was "under construction" but for the eight days we were there there was no work on it. I suspect there is no intention to "repair" it. This was disappointing for a child. read more
