English, French and German Spoken Family Reunions Welcome Shorelands is a relaxed Maine Cottage Resort. The way life used to be. We have grown gradually over the years and we are constantly adding improvements. Consequently our SPOTLESS cottages and apartments are all different in size and style. Units range from double bed motel rooms up to fully equipped 2-bedroom apartments. In any season, you will find our PRICES MODERATE, and we have some great spring and fall packages. There is so much to do here at any time of year, and our location allows you to feel SO CLOSE to everything, yet removed from noise and congestion. We are not posh . . . we are a friendly, and family style resort that many guests come back to again and again for the quiet relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness, attentive service and Casual Country Comfort. There were some beautiful window boxes, but they didn't compensate for the shoddy room.
There was a tiny, inadequate, and outdated bathroom. The flooring was peeling up.

There was a window that allows one to look from the bathroom to the kitchen, or kitchen to bathroom. Heat is provided by a very noisy fan/vent in the ceiling, and a moth-eaten extra blanket that was in the closet.

Proximity to the beach.
Room was small.

The staff was helpful and the room had all of the necessities. It was very small but was extremely close to the beach (very nice).

The room and location were nice.
The grounds were under construction and The pool and hot tub was closed, which it did not state in deception. very disappointing!

It was very quiet and the location was good.
It had a musty smell and the bathroom was not cleaned well.

Good place for a quick trip if you are just going to use the room to sleep, but not a place to spend a week.

Very close to the ocean!

If you're over 5 feet tall, I wouldn't recommend these accommodations. Nice view, comfortable bed, but that's about as far as it goes.

It was a nice little cozy cottage. It made you feel like you were in a small apartment, which was good.
I didn't like the location and plus there were too many bugs in it.

I would recommend this little cottage for anyone who likes to get away from everything and doesn't mind not having street lights around. Plus I wasn't impressed with the bugs that were in it. Overall, it was in a nice location because there are a couple beaches within miles around it. I am not sure I would stay at it again, but I wouldn’t' say it was a bad experience.

The newly remodeled room & openess of area and the kitchenette area.
The bathroom was way too small and shower had very little room to move around and water temperature kept on changing from hot to cold.

It was set in a nice location. The cabins were nicely decorated and it was definitely family oriented. Would come back again.

The rate, location, and having two rooms were a big plus for our family! Close to the beach too!!
The bathroom was small and the third single bed was not very sturdy.

I would recommend this location for families! It is not at all plush but adequate for families on a budget. The close proximity to the public beach and ocean were wonderful! Being a family of four also made the two room option perfect for us.

The cottage was clean and very cute.
Not very friendly owners.

I had a 12 year old and a 6 year old child with me, we went to the office to get info on stuff around town when we open the door to the office the owners were fighting and yelling at each other pretty loud. The cottages were nice, clean and had everything you need.
