Shula's Hotel is located in the Miami suburb of Miami Lakes 12 miles from Miami International Airport and 22 miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. This boutique hotel with resort amenities includes The Spa at Shula's featuring the full line Of AVEDA products and rituals, an 18 Hole Championship Senator Golf Course and the 44,000 square foot state of the art Shula's Athletic Club.The lobby is a combination of South Beach chic and eclectic design. Black and white photos of the history of South Florida sports are intermingled with historic photos of the early days of Miami and the history of Miami Lakes. A series of black and white milk bottle photos will be found through out the hotel signifying the roots of Graham Companies owners and managers of Shula's. Shula's will engage your senses with lavender-vanilla aroma and dance music sounds. Guest Rooms furnishings are the combination of British Colonial and eclectic chic. The employees and clientele were so diverse as to be scary. Neither ice maker on wing worked. Channel up/down on remote didn't work.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room.

The hotel was in very good condition and was clean. The restaurant was very expensive. There were no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms.

Shula's is neat, clean and close to shops and restaurants.
The shower had no hot water, the restaurant was very expensive.

We stayed at Shula's only one night, before our cruise. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. The hotel was very busy and apparently full of girls soccer teams. Everyone was well behaved and courteous to other guests, and the hotel staff was numerous and instantly ready to assist the guests when needed. It is a beautiful hotel, very neat, very clean both inside and on the meticulously manicured grounds. We were delighted with everything, with the only serious complaint being that our bathroom had no hot water. read more

The hotel was in a desirable location. It was within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues.

Our hotel stay was quite pleasant. We were able to walk to everything we needed. The hotel and surrounding area were clean and presentable. It was a lovely experience.
