The room was large and comfortable.
Noisy.

This is a clean and well kept hotel. The main problem is with the building design. The odd-numbered rooms all have balconies that face an enclosed swimming/banquet area. The first night I was kept awake by a large group of teens swimming and then, after getting asleep, was woken up by a live band! The other problem was that all three of my children received cuts and scrapes on their feet from the bottom of the pool. I can see this happening to one unlucky child, but when it happens to all three, it is the fault of the pool, not the swimmer. The staff was nice, responsive and directed us to a great place for dough nuts. read more

Convenient location.
Poor repair of outside facade, construction around hotel.

The hotel is not doing well cosmetically. There are water stains on the ceiling of the rooms, buckets in the hall to catch leaks, boards on the outside of the building. There was no elevator or help getting luggage to the second floor. I would not stay there again.

It was perfect for a place to sleep for the night.
The room had a funny smell when I first went in.

The hotel is easily located off 65 S. It was comfortable and warm. All I used it for was a place to sleep while at Purdue for a confrence and it was perfect.

We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We paid for two double beds, but had one queen and only one roll away. One person had to sleep on the floor and we had to ask twice to get extra bedding for the floor. The bathroom was dirty, the carpet needed to be re stretched, there was no ice, and the list goes on.

The hotel was conveniently located and clean.
The front desk staff was very slow and kept people waiting with children while it was late at night.

If you want a no frills hotel, and you are looking for a safe area to just spend the night, this will do fine.
