The staff was amazing and very organized!
The drinks at the outdoor cabana were over-priced.

We stayed in a suite (bedroom, living room, kitchen). The rooms were clean and very comfy. We were so please with our stay - we are going back in 3 weeks, and again over Christmas with 20 family members. Loved it!

The location on the beach. We were within walking distance of several restaurants.
The outside lounges closed too early.

$8 per day parking fee, old bathroom.

Surprise $8 parking fee, old but remodeled bathroom (but not enough), new carpet but had the new smell.

Condition of the rooms was poor.

Furnishings in the room where good and updated. The room itself was in great need of renewal; update fixtures and paint. Bathroom small and dark. Common areas where very nice.

Hotel was in nice area.
Poor service very noisy room was dirty.

The manager did nothing for us. The noise level in the middle of the night due to partying customers was unacceptable. We did not sleep at all. I was with my 79 year old father. He was exhausted the next day. The manager basically said it is spring break. Very disappointed.

Great location. Directly on the beach.
Saturday night crowd was very loud.

We loved this resort and will definitely stay there again! We were able to check in early (noon) and were given a kids suite, which included a separate king bedroom for my husband and I, a kitchen, a separate kids room with bunk beds, and living room. There were three TV¿s, including one with a DVD player in the kids room. We had a lovely ocean view from our bedroom and living room. The staff at both the resort and mangrove grille was incredibly friendly! Our only complaint how loud it was on Saturday night. Our bedroom was right by the walkway, and there were little children running and screaming up and down the walkway until after 11pm, followed by teenagers screaming until after 1am. But that was only on Saturday night, and we stayed Saturday Thursday. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. There are three pools, two hot tubs, hammocks on the beach, playground, two poolside bars. What more could a vacationer ask for? read more

Clean, convenient and nicely situated on the beach.
It's tacky that you have to rent beach chairs even if you are a guest at the hotel.

Nicely situated on the beach in St. Pete. Clean, convenient. Friendly staff. I didn't like that you have to rent beach chairs - I think if you have a key, you should be able to use them for free. Overall, fine experience.
