This "hip" Kimpton hotel for the "young, trendy crowd" beckons with its "striking, avant-garde decor", and "stunning location at the base of Aspen Mountain where you can ski right to the hot tub after a long day on the slopes", imbibe a "great martini" in the "very cool bar", hang with the "fun locals" in the "dramatic pool" or don the "provided animal-print robe" while "enjoying the outdoor fire pit"; the "ultra-cramped rooms" don't thrill, but the "wonderful atmosphere" and service make up for that shortcoming.

Overcrowded with kids - just bad timing.

This hotel is nice, well priced and in a great location.

Funky, different decor is appealing, lobby is very well done.
Bathrooms look a little outdated, standard room is small.

This was my second time staying at the Sky Hotel and I really enjoyed it. It has a great atmosphere - the 39 degrees bar, outdoor areas, lobby etc. Love the different touches eg animal print robes.

The modern decor.
Outside entrance to hotel room.

This hotel was in the perfect location for Aspen. I particularly enjoyed walking out of the hotel room to be greeted by a group of raccoons who were also residing at the hotel. They appeared equally interested in me. The hotel employees were not thrilled, apparently the raccoons have bitten guests who were foolish enough to feed/pet them.

Maids clean glasses in room with rag, their fingers and soap. Very unsterilized and low class.

Old hotel with small, clean rooms. Close to slopes. Hopping bar in hotel, one of the most popular in Aspen.
