Effort, the staff at the hotel clearly do their best in providing a restful experience.
Shower head didn't quite work properly in our room for some reason. Usable but off putting.

Not the fanciest place you can stay, but for people just looking for a nice simple hotel then you will actually be pleasantly surprised. I chose to go there based on the price and location but would gladly choose this hotel again in the future.

The hotel exceeded my expectations.
A fire alarm at midnight.

The hotel really exceeded my expectations. For a supposedly moderate hotel, it was actually nicer than some more expensive hotels in which I have stayed.

Room was clean, hotel staff was helpful and courteous.
The AC/heat made a terrible racket.

The front desk staff was very nice and when one of the vending machines ate my money, the front desk reimbursed me, no questions asked. The room was clean, but the TV had a very fuzzy picture (very old) and almost unmatchable, it needs to be replaced. The AC/heat unit made a terrible racket every time it came on and needed to be repaired or replaced.

Very clean and rooms were very nice!
It was kind of hard to find.

Very nice Motel. Ultra clean and very modern. Excellent place to stay for the money!

The room rate.
My room was extremely noisy.

I was in the first room outside of the dining area. I believe the kitchen area was on the other side of the wall. Where the hotel staff does the laundry was across from my room. There was a generator or some machine making a loud notice about every 20-45 minutes. It was extremely loud. I could hear the water pipes making noise through the walls also. They were loud also.

Continental Breakfast was good. Although, they did run out of some items before the end of breakfast.
The bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned. The toilet seat was disgusting.

Staff was helpful. Easy access to the metro. Contrary to what I read on the website, they do not provide free shuttle service to the metro on weekends. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived. Not sure if I will give this hotel another chance.

The hotel was convenient and the coffee in the room was great!
Our room smelled of smoke for our entire stay and we were supposed to be in a nonsmoking room. The key didn't work.

We liked the Sleep Inn because we were close to many interests. The food and shopping was convenient as was Washington D.C. The value was great too.
