The Sleep Inn and Suites hotel is conveniently located five miles from Ave Maria Grotto and Heritage Park. This Cullman hotel is minutes from area attractions like Smith Lake Park, Wallace State Community College, Clarkson Covered Bridge and Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. Birmingham is 50 miles from the hotel. A variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges are located in the area, including Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant, Denny's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Baxter's Steak House, KFC, Wendy's and Burger King. Liked that the doors were not on the outside of the building.
The beds were very poor quality mattresses.

For the money, this was a good choice. Maintenance was sub standard. The toilet rocked on the flange and the tp holder was not installed correctly or tightened. The TV Remote was missing and the replacement had dead batteries.

Convenient.
Not enough non-smoking rooms. Our room reeked of smoke.

They had recently re-painted and carpeted, but the smell of smoke was overwhelming. Please increase the number of non-smoking rooms.
