Their complementary breakfast was presented nicely and was very tasty and healthy.
The refrigerator motor was a bit annoying and the television needs updating.
I did not get a chance to see a lot of the grounds since I arrived at dusk and had to be out of the hotel by 11 am or be charged an extra $25.00 for every hour I was late. I would like to revisit in the summer when we have longer days because I read that the grounds are very pretty. I loved the skylight and seeing the moon and stars from my bed. They serve one of the best complimentary breakfasts I have had in my little experience of home away from home. I liked the arrangements of the lights in the room and having the wet bar was quite helpful. The snacks a little on the pricey side for someone like myself in the middle to low income bracket trying to have a nice getaway. I had read about Sonoma Coast Villa Inn on the internet and expected the owners to be a bit more friendly. read more

The attention to detail that was evident everywhere.
Absolutely nothing.
The Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa is a true jewel on the California Coast. The attention to detail is evident everywhere in the 66 acre property. We checked in and didn't want to leave. We felt like we were the most important guests to Johannes and Ingrid, the proprietors. Our meal that was served in our private patio was carefully prepared and elegantly presented. It was exquisite. read more

It was a beautiful hotel that I would love to go back too. Very quiet and peaceful place to relax and pamper myself.
The hotel was very nice. I enjoyed every night that I stayed there. The bed was comfortable with nice warm sheets that were very soft. The hotel room was roomy and comfortable and I am ready to go back already!

Beautifully landscapped grounds. Lovely lobby with spiral staircase to the library tower.
Very peaceful & relaxing. Private patio leading out to manicured grounds with water features, even a 3 hole mini golf course. Elegant room, with a jetted jacuzzi tub & fresh ground coffee for the morning.Plan to spend time here, just to relax and unwind!Spa services were very resonably priced.Outstanding breakfast included with fresh fruit and fresh pastries. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and paid attention to detail. read more

Very quiet with lovely grounds. Romantic room. An almost serene feel to the place.
Nothing really. Maybe a little off the beaten track but worth the extra drive.
One of the most pleasant hotels of our vacation. Lifts you right out of the chaos of the world. Lovely grounds and rooms. Small and intimate.

Lovely location with serene ambiance.
Room on west side with glaring sun no air conditioning late afternoon.
Secluded and exclusive feeling European run, with courteous help, owner involvement, and lovely grounds, this hotel had some decor issues (a bit kitschy in the rooms, (though if we'd been there in the winter, we'd've loved the fireplace) and pilled pink polyester table cloths), but overall the experience was very nice, with a fairly luxurious breakfast included.

The atmosphere and decor were fabulous. It felt absolutely decadent.
Loved everything.
It was a wonderful place to just go and spoil yourself and the food and dining experience was one of the top ten of my life.
