*** IMPORTANT **** for bookings with arrival dates from between 28th August 09 to 01st September 09 any cancellations made a minimum 15 days before arrival date will not be subject to cancellation penalty. Cancellations made 15-8 days before arrival date are subject to a 50PCT penalty of the entire stay. Any cancellations made after 7 days or less before arrival will have a penalty of 100 PCT of booking cost. This first class Hotel, placed right in the heart of the City is very comfortable to visit the downtown area. Close to the Hotel are buses and underground to everywhere. It is five minutes walk from the Gothic quarter, near the fair and congress center and also near the beach. The Hotel has a friendly staff, it was built in 1992, is very cozy and has the most comfortable guest rooms and public lounges. read more

Hotel was in a good location in Barcelona.
Was NOT a nice hotel for 3 stars In the same league as Days Inn very outdated no alarm clock provided bed was broken and not fixed 4 us

This was the same star rating and nowhere near Sofitels level. Hotel was old, run down, bed was broken on the left side, my husband felt like he was falling out of it all night long. Were on our honeymoon and was only given another option of a room with two twin beds which left us wondering how on Earth they managed to fit those two beds in that teeny room..Rooms were very small and terribly outdated. Smelled of strong smoke. Very loud construction going on in the hotel which made for an unpleasant stay. We requested a wake up call the am of our departure and they never called making us very late in our day. Had to change flight time and the hotel wouldn't even call the airlines for us to find out what time we needed to be there. They knew we were scrambling but didn't seem to care. Aside from the hotel being in a good location it was a bad experience all the way around. Not the way to celebrate your honeymoon. read more
