Barcelona hotel was a nice property but not kid friendly&
Charging more than $45 per kid (12 yr old) for an extra bed.
Average hotel. Good restaurant and breakfast. Sufficient for travelers with families, since we only need space for sleeping and good breakfast in the morning. Otherwise we are out sightseeing from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The hotel staff was very helpful.
The hotel is extremely noisy and walls are paper thin.
This hotel is not worth the price. The walls must be made of paper as you can hear every sound from adjacent rooms as well as traffic noise. Also, there was no breakfast included in the price which is usual and customary for most hotels. On the positive side, the metro is directly across the street and 4 stops from Placa Catalunya. Also it is a pretty easy walk to Sagrada family cathedral. read more

Great location with proximity to the Metro which is right outside the door.
They still operate on the Franco system of commissions. Ride from the airport 23 Euros, to the airport 35 Euros.
Do not ask them to get you a taxi because you will be overcharged by 10 Euros (Which is handed to the person who made the phone call right in front of your eyes.) If you get sick just go to a clinic or pharmacy they have great clinics) If they call a doctor you are expected to pay 150 Euros (50 of which are handed to the receptionist who called).

Good location and bar service.
Check in took at long time! Was a major headache.
Additionally, they didn't have any rooms with a bed for 2. We ended up with two twins. Not what we wanted for our honeymoon.

It is in Barcelona, near the Sagrada Familiar.
Room so small could barely squeeze around bed. Paper thin walls, marble floor equals extremely noisy. Lock to door didn't work and they couldn't fix it.
Room so small could barely squeeze around bed. Paper thin walls, marble floor equals extremely noisy, could hear all neighbors activities and cell phones. Lock to room door didn't work and they couldn't fix it so I had to get let in every time. Hotel literature in room outdated so it gave me the wrong number for the front desk and I couldn't get through and had to trudge down in my pajamas. Alarm in TV. didn't work. Bed uncomfortable. Full of noisy teenaged looking travelers. Felt like a hostel. Trouble from the start when they couldn't find my reservation. read more
