Great ground floor and reception area. Good service and free internet/computer usage.
The rooms did not fit the hotel style, deceitful thinking the rooms were modern as well.
4-star? I don't know. It was nice to have a suite with a living room including a sofa bed. Bed comfort? Ok, not great, not the worst, but expected more for 4-stars. Close to metro a + but I felt it was far from La Castellana, and 2 train transfers to get to the center of the city. Not much to do around the area, all formidable, clean rooms, and friendly staff though. I liked the complimentary "mini-bar" fridge with drinks though. read more

The staff was friendly and agreed to upgrade my room.
The standard room I got was old, smelly, and poorly maintained.
I have been disappointed by what I got. I have always been happy with every booking I get because I get excellent quality for excellent value. However, in this particular case, I neither got quality nor value. In fact, the price I got was exactly the same as what I would have gotten from Travelocity or booking directly with the hotel. I am very disappointed.

Bathroom needed renovation and was not of a 4 star hotel.
I would recommend this hotel for its convenience.

The lobby is a wonderful welcome! The decor and color is open and welcoming to the weary traveler.
I can't think of a thing that I did not like!
The hotel staff was friendly and warm. The room was clean and nicely decorated. I would visit again!

The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly.
I like everything about this hotel.
The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to help me find things in the city of Madrid I wanted to see. They also helped me the morning of my departure to get a taxi at 7 a.m. to get to the train station. The room was very nice and very comfortable. The hotel is located right next to the metro where you can ride to anywhere in the city for very little money. read more

Remote, isolated location.
Former 70's vintage apartment building converted into "suite" hotel. Removed from most city attractions but on the Metro line (Metro stop is 1/2 block away). Free Internet access and complimentary soda, juice, etc in room.

Each room had a living room, excellent bathroom, metro station 2 minutes free internet.
4 metro stations from Salamanca and 12 stations from downtown.
Modern facilities with living room in each room and marble bathrooms. Breakfast buffet good; location excellent for transport on metro. Very helpful and friendly staff.
