Located in the heart of the capital city, this 3-star guesthouse is near many of the top sites and lively nightlife of Madrid. Tijcal II guesthouse enjoys an unbeatable location in the very centre of the capital. From here you can visit the Plaza Mayor, the famous Puerta del Sol, the Palacio Real and the pretty and lively neighbourhood of Latina is just a short walk away. In the evening you can go to the theatre, such as the Teatro Español. There are numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs in the immediate area surrounding the guesthouse. Central location.
Uncomfortable beds, room is stuffy and has weird smell.

Stay away from this place! This is not a hotel, it's more like a youth hostel with private bathroom. The room I stayed in has a weird smell. There is only 1 small window facing the sky well, no fresh air, you could hear everything that's going on in the hall and next door. If you have your windows open, you can smell your neighbor's cigarette. If you want to use the air conditioning, it's an extra 5 Euro per night. For this price, I'd rather save my money and stay at a hostel. Overpriced, I paid the same price at a B&B before and it was night and day. I would never return to this place even if they invite me back to stay for free. read more
