Description of St. Regis Resort, Aspen
Ideally located at the base of Aspen Mountain, The St. Regis Aspen Resort is the perfect place to experience the splendor of the Rocky Mountains. Nestled between the gondola and lift 1A, we are only three miles from Aspen Airport and are convenient to Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass ski areas. It's easy to see why our resort was named one of the "Top 50 Resorts in the United States" in 2005 and one of the "Top 50 Ski Resorts in North America" in 2004 by Cond Nast Traveler, as well as to their 2004 and 2005 Gold Lists, and a 2004 Readers' Choice winner. Travel + Leisure magazine also named us one of the "World's Best" in 2004. read more

Get the "royal Aspen treatment" at this "terrific" ski resort with an "amazing location" at the base of the mountain and "within walking distance to everything in town"; expect "excellence in every respect", from the "faultless service" and "luxurious" rooms to the "amazing amenities" that include a "sexy coed spa and grotto" and "live music in the bar" ("lots of jet-setter sightings"); although a small flock of foodniks find Olives restaurant a little "disappointing" and penny-pinchers pout over "absurd" rates, most say this one "has it all."

At the base of Aspen mountain, beautiful scenery and atmosphere any time of year!
No in room coffee.

Gorgeous any time of year, close to all the activity in town and service over the top! We loved the outdoor fireplaces in the courtyard facing the mountain! Perfection!

Well-appointed rooms; comfortable, well decorated lobby.
Staff was a little inconsistent - some were incredibly friendly & helpful, others a little less hospitable.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk and the bell boy.
Although this hotel is excellent, I feel a bit stuffiness atmosphere when I arrived.

The room was very St. Regis and have a mountain atmosphere feeling. Although, we feel that the room would be a bit smaller during Winter ski time, it was perfect for summer time. When we arrived, we felt a bit stuffiness atmosphere feeling. The receptionists were very friendly, which minimize those stuffiness feeling.

Excellent service.
The room was a bit small.

The price for the hotel is justified by the quality of the service and great location. I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Resort. I certainly look forward to returning to stay at this hotel.

The service and attention to detail surpassed my expectations.
The rooms were very basic.

The St. Regis was a great hotel I would highly recommend. The location in Aspen was extremely close and just a 1-2 minute walk to where the action was. The staff was very attentive and went the extra mile to help us. The butler service was excellent and the lobby areas were very inviting. I loved the coach area by the fireplace!

The staff was amazing.
Decor a bit dark and older taste.

I was a bit intimidated in going to this hotel because of its rating and reputation but even with a 6 month old baby the staff was very inviting and accommodating. The location was ideal for walking around Aspen. What an enjoyable summer stay!
