At this "delightful" address near Stanford University – an English Colonial–style "change of pace from the typical business" property – they offer "warm homemade cookies" in the lobby and serve up "one of the best brunches" in the area; but ambivalent types are torn over this "not bad, not great" spot, saying it "could be much better."

Absolutely nothing not to like, it's beautiful.

Prepare to be impressed. If you're unused to excellent service, this wonderful hotel will spoil you for anything less. If you are accustomed to it, you'll appreciate it as much as we did.

Two individual vanities.

This hotel is not only tastefully decorated, but is roomy and designed with the traveler in mind. The staff makes it a point to make sure you have everything you need from the moment you arrive until you leave.

Very nice upscale hotel in a good location near Stanford University. The service in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent.

Restaurant stopped breakfast service too early. Reception with loud music blared.

A charming Oasis is in a great location. Near Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, Stanford Shopping Center. Attentive, professional staff. Lovely rooms.
