Old furniture in room.

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Relatively good location close to train station. We had a lovely room with living space on lower level and bedroom upstairs. The elevator with bookcase was cute but also a tad tacky.

Clean high quality linens, soft bed, quiet, wood floors, high quality shampoo and lotion
paying 22 euro per day for internet at a 5-star hotel, location is a little out of the way but it actually made it quiet and it was close to the metro

I stayed at 3 different 5-star rated hotels in Belgium and the Stanhope was the best. The wood floors made the room seem clean (as opposed to smelly carpet there are a lot of smokers in Europe), the bathroom was huge with a separate shower. The huge bath tub, high quality towels and toiletries, and seemingly endless hot water made you feel like you were at a spa. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a bit out of the way but that only made it quiet. read more

Clean, location fine.
Room windows don't shut tightly. In-room safe was initially not working.

Hotel was fine. 4* would be a better description as the quality was similar to that of other Priceline-rated 4*s in the immediate vicinity.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was expensive.

Very beautifully put together. Newly renovated. Location very close to public transportation. Room was very cozy and comfortable. Few extras like bath robe and slippers were a bonus.

Room was beautiful with windows that open. Many amenities including robes, slippers.
Breakfast was too expensive in American dollars.

Lovely, hotel in a quiet setting. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was beautiful.

Needs some renovation as furniture and facilities have slightly worn down look - though this doesn't influence the overall positive impression.

Charming and comfortable place, not feels like those faceless business hotels at all.
