Big rooms with nice breakfast and some snacks at night sometimes.
Elevators are slow but who cares.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you get a good price. Every facet of the service was great.

I asked for a 3-star hotel room. I was given a studio room with one full-size bed. I expect a queen- or king-size bed in 3-star accomodations. This is the first hotel I've stayed in in a long time that did not have 2 beds in the room. Even though everything else about this hotel was good to excellent, I would never recommend this hotel to someone else.

Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful! Breakfast was phenomenal.
Gym was very small, advertised as renovated, but only had 3 pieces of equipment.

Staybridge suites were very nice for travel to the Mayo Clinic. Service was great, and the staff was very friendly. My hairdryer blew out on the first day, and they were very speedy in their response to fix it. TV's are old, no flat screens and they are attached to an amour that does not face either the couch or the bed so if you want to watch any serious TV, would go downstairs to lobby, large TV there, or to the bar next door, several TV's playing football. There is a free shuttle to the Mayo clinic, however, it only runs once an hour, and has limited times during the day if you have to leave the Mayo area after 5 pm, you are on your own. The good news was that the area around the hotel was safe and well lit, and walking back to the hotel was not a hardship. read more

Parking was a little difficult.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the facilities at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and had the added advantage of a kitchenette.
