Gym is not as advertised, only 3 machines in 15x30' room.

The smell. The room smelled like animals. Smelled up cigarettes from neighboring rooms.

Rooms look like a 3 star hotel. Unfortunately, the odor of animals and cigarettes in the room was like none I have ever experienced, and I have stayed in both pet friendly and smoking rooms. The hall ways to get to the rooms scared me a bit as they should be the most well kept areas in the hotel since everyone walks through them and they are reflection of how you take care of the overall facility not so here. The hall had buckets in it catching the rain water that came through. I would have dismissed it as a repair that wasn't done yet, but the entire hallway had visible signs of old water leaks and make shift patches ceiling tile panels screwed onto a popcorn ceiling to cover older water spots. Facilities were a bit worn and the walls were like paper.

This is a nice hotel though it shows a bit of it's age.

Beautiful grounds; clean.
Hard to reach from our beginning location.

Beautiful campus of hotel facilities that we wished we'd been able to stay long enough to explore. Very clean, large rooms. Friendly staff. Would happily stay here again, especially if we had time to make use of the other hotel facilities and explore the grounds.

Great rural setting in a small town area.
Electrical and furnishings were questionable.

Rooms were very well situated on a lake with a balcony - the price was very reasonable due to the big conventions they held.
