The hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is ideally located for both business and leisure travelers, especially for those who visit to Tokyo first time, with its convenient location easy access in around Tokyo,less than 100 meters to subway train Shinjuku station, close to major tourist spots, shopping and business districts. A lot of restaurants, shops and department stores are within walking distance. With stylish design and high security, Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku offers the guests comfortable and safe stay. Though the hotel is located in the very center of Tokyo, the hotel also offers relaxing, quiet and at home atmosphere with warm hospitality. The hotel has 1 restaurant and 2 bars. Rooms were larger than expected; clean; polite staff.
Not near many tourist attractions; but close to the subway.

The room was larger than expected and very clean. The lobby is beautiful. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, convenient to train station. We didn't realize we could catch the Narita Express from Shinjuku. We went to Hiroshima and stayed at a Sunroute Hotel there too. All the arrangements were made at Shinjuku. They even gave us a "points card" which instantly allowed on room and food discounts. The breakfast buffets were excellent.

Location for the price is unbeatable.
Economy double rooms are small. Think bed takes most of the room.

The economy double rooms are very small, but clean and bedding was comfortable. Don't mistake "High speed internet in rooms" for wi-fi, they do not have wi-fi as of this writing. They provide internet in a "Guest Lounge" on the 2nd floor, however you may have to wait to get one of the two computers available. English speaking staff was helpful. My wife and I were very satisfied with our experience. read more

Friendly staff, great shower/tub, great location.
Room walls were scuffed.

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of my trip. It's easy to get to from the Rail or Subway stations, just make sure you note which exit you get out at! It's hard to get to otherwise. The staff was very friendly, and gave me an umbrella when I didn't have one. It's close to the Shinjuku alley restaurants and a ton of mini-marts. The only negative experience I had was that on my second night, I was put in a room that showed a lot more signs of abusive customers than the first. But overall, a great hotel, especially for the price. read more

Great value and convenient location, expectations met.
Room size is too efficient, space is a premium.

Small room size but a great value and convenient location. Far from Narita but 3,200 Yen direct 1 hour bus to shinjuku station solved that.
