Rogue Wilderness Adventures (kayak & rafting) and Rogue River Jet Boats are only 2 miles away. We are close to Winery Tours, Antique Shopping and the Balloon Festival. Crater Lake National Park and the Oregon Caves are only 80 miles from the Super 8. Medford Airport is located 29 miles away. There are many restaurants nearby; Sizzlers, Denny's, Wild River Brewery, China Hut, Della's, Muchas Graciass, Hart's cafe and many more. Guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast, high speed wireless internet access, cable TV w/HBO, in-room coffee maker, micro/fridge, safes, free local phone calls and complimentary parking. Complimentary coffee is available 24 hours in the Lobby. We also have guest laundry facilities and a meeting room. We allow pets, but restrictions and fees apply. Nice bathroom renovation.
Ugly, drab carpeting throughout that looked dirty and worn.

In the process of improving, I would say, but not worthy of its star. Old, worn, stained, and dingy.

Location.
Smoking rooms alternate with non smoking.Whole motel smelled of stale smoke.

Dingy and smelled of smoke everywhere. I won't stay there again.

Convenient location to freeway and restaurants.
Poor continental breakfast.

We were there just to spend the night. It adequately filled that purpose. I would not choose it for an extended stay.

Very quiet, microwave & refrigerator were very convenient.
Hallways were dingy & smelled of smoke.

Rooms were comfortable & very quiet. Hallways desperately need renovating. Location is convenient. I would stay again.

I like the location and price.
I like to see fruit for breakfast.

For the 50th Boatnik in Grants Pass, Oregon Motel 8 is very good place to have fun and enjoy relaxing after a fun day on the Rouge River.

Lobby was like a Motel 6, not enough plug ins for curling irons, iron etc.

Towels/bedding did not seem very clean.

For the most part the hotel was fine. Just o few things were uncomfortable. One plus was there was no noise - slept deeply.

The indoor pool and spa are great at either end of the day.

This is the best value in Grants Pass. Our room was very clean and not worn out. The mattresses were softer than at home, but I slept well. The indoor pool is of modest size, but still feels great. And the AC ran strong on the hottest of days. The breakfast offers juice, coffee, cocoa, English muffins, muffins, and cold cereal. I considered it barely passable. Numerous fast food and sit-down restaurants are within a couple of blocks. read more
