Super 8 Motel - Aiken Sc/Augusta Ga Area

Excellent staff, hard working and pleasant.

Do not recommend.

The furniture was old and worn, the room dirty, the A/C did not work well, the bed was small and uncomfortable, the toilet would rock back and forth when seated and the hotel used a piece of wood to block the back door from closing, which was a security concern. The other two rooms I reserved where excellent. Please review this hotel.

The staff at check-in was very inattentive. Dealt with customers on phone first and was rude to them. Lock on back door did not work so you had to walk around building and all the way down hall to get back to room. Hotel under remodeling, strong paint odor throughout. Remodeling began early in morning did not allow for people to sleep in. Internet access was very questionable.

Decent hotel, about what I would expect for that level. It was clean and was also quieter than I would have expected (not much hall noise). The HVAC system was also smooth and quiet which makes it easier to sleep. The beds were not very comfortable - mattresses could have been a little less firm.

I have stayed at this hotel before but will not again. It's in a great location but the non secured outside door opening and closing in the early hours doesn't make me feel very comfortable whether or not my door is locked in all available ways.

If you need to stay in Aiken this is a nice place. It is near the mall and convenient to the center of town. The hotel was up to date, clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel with good helpful staff. Good value for the money.
