The Super 8 Augusta is conveniently located three miles from the Augusta State Airport off of I-95 at Exit 109. The Super 8 Augusta, ME is just minutes from the Maine State Museum, the Augusta Civic Center, the Maine State Capital Building, the University of Maine at Augusta and the Childrens' Discovery Museum. Belgrade Lakes and the Freeport Outlets are also nearby. The Augusta Business Park is three miles away. Bates College, Bowdoin College, Colby College and Thomas College are approximately 30 minutes away. The cost.
No centrall staircase/elevator.

Smelled smoke in my non-smoking room. Breakfast area smelled heavily of industriall cleaners.

Price, smoky odor throughout building, hair in tub and sink.

I would not stay there again because of the smoky smell in our non smoking room and the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.

I did not like anything about this hotel.

Staff was loud and obnoxious and not friendly. Room was cheap, and definitely not worth the money.

The hotel in general was very smoky smelling. The parking lot was not well lit. There were empty pop bottles in one of the dresser drawers. A bug walked across the bed spread of one of the beds. The toilet seat was stained and there was duct tape holding on part of the bath tub. The sheets and pillowcases were clean but did not fit the beds correctly. The floor was clean. Did not stay for the free breakfast, but the breakfast area was very small and the selection of food did not look very extensive. read more

Really nice accommodations. Extras, like iron, blow dryer, coffee pot in room.

This hotel was better then expected. We were super pleased with our accommodations. The room was spacious. Had many extras, in room coffee pot, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. Stuff you don't usually get at that price point. Plus it was conveniently located.

Un healthy air quality.

I would not recommend this hotel. In my opinion, this hotel needs to be evaluated by the heath dept. The hotel has a heavy cigarette smoke smell to the point that I had issue breathing.
