Quiet, large room.
The breakfast area is very small. We encountered a guest that went back for breakfast food several times. It was nearly impossible to fix a waffle.

Good hotel, this time the breakfast was ready at 6 am. This time the only gripe was the guest that wouldn't wait his turn at the food counter and waffle maker.

Friendly workers and nice environment.
Beds were not clean, one of them had crumbs of some sort on it.

When arriving was greeting very well and any questions or needs were taken care of promptly.

The gentleman at the front desk was friendly.
dirty bedding, cold pool, no spa & clogged drain

I've stayed at this Super 8 before and had an enjoyable experience. This time, however, was not so. Our bedding was dirty, the spa was closed, the pool was cold and our drain was clogged.After mentioning these issues, we were offered a partial refund. We'll see if the appropriate changes are made by the next time we are down in Bloomington, IN.

Dirty bedspread and there were potato chips on the bedspread when we first checked in
over the room!

Unfortunately, upon entering the room and checking the room over, we found potato chip crumbs on the bedspread, and upon looking over the bedspread we found it to be dirty-we actually scraped at some stain spots on the bedspread and it actually scraped off! How disgusting! I was too tired from my trip to complain at that moment, so I just threw the dirty bedspread on the floor, and left a note on the bed the next morning. I guess the saying is right you get what you pay for but not at a hotel! Unfortunately I will not be staying at this particular hotel ever again when I pass through Bloomington, Indiana. I quess Dateline was right about taking along a blue light to detect any bodily fluids or whatever you might find in hotel rooms. Travelers beware! read more

Location convenient to the family we were visiting.

An older hotel, economy grade adequate to our needs as seniors, for a one night stay better that others we have seen of the same brand.
